I’ve been dancing contemporary dance nearly my whole life. My dance school, Vantaa Dance Institute, has given me chances to performance for example in Kuopio dance festival and in many other dance events around Finland. I started working with professional choreographers, like Nina Mamia, Hanna Brotherus and Thomas Freundlich when I was 15. The first professional work of mine was Opera Skaala’s Transit, a modern contemporary opera.  I’m finishing my studies in Kallio upper secondary school of performing arts. The school has helped me with getting to know the world of drama, and last year I was acting in St. Petersburg in a play which was performed in German. I’ve also danced in Monteverdi’s opera Il ritorno d’Ulisse inpatria so Poppea is not the first performance I’m doing with the director Ville Saukkonen.
