Claudio Monteverdi (1567–1643): L’incoronaZione di Poppea (1643)

Orpheus’ Muses completed its Monteverdi cycle in 2017, the 450th birthday year of the great composer. It was a critical triumph:

The performances took place in the concert hall of Helsinki Conservatory in Ruoholahti on 25.8.2017,  28.8.2017,  30.8.2017 and 1.9.2017. The production was in cooperation with Helsinki Conservatory, and the performances were supported by the Helsinki Culture Centre, Finnish Music Foundation (MES) and the Helsinki recycling centre.
