Jarkko Salminen was discovered at his workplace in the Finnish National Opera where he is part of the technical crew. Jarkko was fixing something on stage and decided to “try out the acoustics”. One of the singers heard his deep, resonant voice and encouraged him to take lessons. Since then he has sung in many operatic performances. In our 2016 production of Ulysse’s Homecoming Jarkko sang the role of Antinoo, one of the Penelope’s suitors.
