This striking picture wonderfully captures the dedication, character and passion that internationally acclaimed mezzo soprano Merja Mäkelä puts into her work. Merja has worked at numerous opera houses in Germany. She is the other leading star in our production, singing the demanding role of the mad emperor Nero. We are delighted to have her on board, bringing her professionalism and energy to our production. I can’t wait to let her loose!
